My attempt to reinstall Windows failed as well.  I don’t actually have a recovery disk for it, but I have a CD for XP Professional that a friend had lent me.  When I tried to install it, it installed as a separate operating system rather than repairing the current one.  The new Windows won’t load at all, as it keeps giving me the blue screen of death.  The old Windows still loads, but with the same problems.  So now I don’t know what to do with the separate operating system.  I had to do the full install, because the repair option asks for the administrator password, which I just don’t have.  I’ve never had one to begin with, so I have no idea what it could be, or how to retrieve it.  If I could just replace this system with the XP Pro, I should be fine.  But for now, I’m stumped.

     In much brighter news, I’m happy that they’ve updated the confirmed character list for Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology II.  Now they have the entire Symphonia party and the entire Legendia party, and all of the Abyss party (except Natalia hasn’t been confirmed yet).  But I see no reason why they should exclude her.  But you know what this means, right?  That’s right....MOAR Jay!!  OMG....the moment ToL ended, I was already hungry for more!  And now we’re gonna get more!  Hopefully now the ToL party will be given some justice!

     By justice, I mean the full 360 battle system (maybe even some hu-ougi’s).  Though I understand that Senel wasn’t even given a hu-ougi in the original RM game.  Maybe they’ll change that this time around.  The compound eres skills in ToL could be the equivalent to hu-ougi’s, but it wasn’t quite the same.  But only Senel, Chloe, Moses, and Jay had it.  And Jay’s compound eres were the only ones that were worth a damn.  And I’m not just saying that because he’s my favorite character.

     For my hopes, I can only hope that at least Jay’s voice actor will remain the same.  But knowing Namco, they are notorious for switching voice actors.  Think of Tekken 4 and 5, and Soul Calibur II and III for example...the voices took a turn for the worse in the latter game for each series.  I remember how Lee Chaolan’s voice turned me on in Tekken 4.  Only half of the voices were changed in Tekken 5, and Lee’s had to be one of them.  Not to mention the out-of-place language switch from English to Japanese.  And in Soul Calibur III, all of the new voice actors were horrible, with the exception of Raphael, and the new characters, Tira, Setsuka, and Zasalamel.  I hope they don’t ruin the ToL characters’ voices like that...

     Though I do understand that Cam Clarke reprised his role as Kratos in the first RM game, so hopefully he’ll be back to voice Kratos and Will...but that would be weird with both of them in the same game.  So they might have a different voice for Will.  I remember thinking it odd for Cam Clarke to be his voice...but now I can’t imagine any other voice.

     And is it true that Steve Staley voiced Mormo in the first RM?  Wikipedia says so, but imdb says that Mormo was voiced by Brian Beacock.  So we’ll never know what the truth is.  I just hope that Staley plays Jay again.  If nothing else...please Staley, play Jay again...

     I can also hope for more angled cutscenes such as in Symphonia and Abyss.  From the looks of the first RM, its cutscenes were more similar to Legendia...just one long camera shot with skit shots to show facial expressions.  But I wanna see the ToL people up close with different angles.

     All of a sudden, I feel like playing ToL, even if just to run around Werites Beacon with Jay...

     Oh hell, I think my temperature just shot up to 102...

      EDIT:  And all of a sudden, the updates disappear, and Senel is the only ToL character confirmed for RM2 again.  Why must they toy with our minds like this??
